Too SHarp Edges would Bleed people..., The Best Idea for India at this Moment is, To Design Software/Hardware out for each major indian languages, so that all the there would be a Huge Work Force... which could reduce the COst drasticallyy..., and the side effects .. is huge employment........, there will be semi-english/local language literate people front-ending with the architects, and the pure local lang professionals would be working hands-on....
Ofcourse I agree with you by designing S/H/Ware into local languages will do improve employement and reduce the cost. We used to have problem while communicating with local european people.We as technical expertise used to design things and provide to French and Germany front office people they inturn used to explain things in their local languages.Hope some one in this Infy,Wipro and Satyam might have already started such type of projects which could bring huge difference in the lifes of people living in various states and preserve the indian heritage.
